| Since the establishment and development of Department of Arts and Physical Education of Shandong Normal College in1950, the school level of music education as a whole has been greatly improved. Piano teaching has also made a lot of results, the piano course setup have been constantly perfected and develop rapidly. The excellent piano teachers make use of modern technology in piano teaching, update their concepts and have the innovation constantly. However, under the trend of rapid development of piano teaching of Shandong Normal College, we must also realize that there are still many problems.In the text, the author makes use of questionnaire to investigate three Normal universities in Shandong Province, including the situation and the form of piano teaching, the professional quality and the playing level of the students, the course setup and the teaching arrangement of universities.
