The Study On The Relation Among Marriage Views Of Graduate And Personality Traits/Gender Role

This research through conclude and summary the previous studies,raise theory idea of marriage views,combined with the open questionnaire and case interviews result,the author compiled marriage views questionnaire of graduate student,include outlook on love,mate choice,views on marriage,sexual attitudes.Outlook on love include emotional、 experiential、utilitarian、sex sexual,mate choice include character personality, background conditions,views on marriage include love and marriage、married tendency, marital fidelity concept,Sexual attitudes include attitude to other premarital sex、attitude to oneself premarital sex、love and sex.Inspection,the reliability and validity of self-compiled questionnaire are meet the psychometric requirements.The author use self-compiled of graduate student surveyed marriage views,personality traits,gender roles, and explored their relationship. The results show that:(1)The levels of most factors of marriage views are above the average.(2)There are significant difference between different genders in utilitarian、sex sexual、character personality, background conditions、attitude to oneself premarital sex、 love and sex of graduate student.There is significant difference between single child or not in background conditions.There are significant difference between different marriage exchange situation in character personality、married tendency、marital fidelity concept.There is significant difference between different grade in attitude to other premarital sex、attitude to other premarital sex.There are significant difference between different professional in emotional、character personality、love and marriage、marital fidelity concept,between different family residences in background conditions、attitude to other premarital sex, between different marriage status in emotional、utilitarian、love and marriage、married tendency、attitude to other premarital sex、attitude to oneself premarital sex, between different parenting style in character personality、marital fidelity concept、attitude to other premarital sex、attitude to oneself premarital sex、love and sex, between different parents relationship in character personality、married tendency.There is significant difference between different family economic conditions in love and sex.There are significant difference between different relations with father in experiential sex sexual、attitude to other premarital sex、attitude to oneself premarital sex,between different relations with mother in Sex sexual、background conditions、 married tendency、marital fidelity concept.(3).There is significant difference between different gender in psychoticism.There are significant difference between different family residences and marriage status in Inside and outside.There are significant difference between different parenting style、parents relationship、family economic conditions in neurotic.There are no significant difference between different grade、professional、single child or not、marriage exchange situation、 relations with father、relations with mother in psychoticism、Inside and outside and neurotic.(4)In this study, four kinds of gender roles percentage types were double gender in32.2%, masculine in21.2%, feminine19.9%, undifferentiated26.7%.(5)There are significant difference between different personality type in sex sexual、 background conditions,between different gender role type in emotional、experiential、 utilitarian、character personality、love and marriage、marital fidelity concept、Marital fidelity concept.(6)There are significant positive correlation in feminine and emotional、experiential、 character personality、love and marriage、married tendency、marital fidelity concept、 love and sex, and significant negative correlation in feminine and utilitarian、attitude to oneself premarital sex,there are significant positive correlation in masculine and character personality、love and marriage、inside and outside,and significant negative correlation in masculine and utilitarian、attitude to oneself premarital sex、neurotic, and no significant correlation in masculine and psychoticism.there are significant positive correlation in psychoticism and experiential、utilitarian、character personality、 significant positive correlation in Inside and outside and character personality.(7)Inside and outside can significantly positive predict masculine,psychoticism can significantly negative predict masculine, masculine can significantly positive predict inside and outside,masculine can significantly negative predict psychoticism,feminine can significantly negative predict inside and outside. (8)Feminine can significantly positive predict emotional、love and marriage、married tendency、marital fidelity concept、love and sex,feminine can significantly positive predict psychoticism and experiential feminine and inside and outside can significantly positive predict character personality,feminine can significantly negative predict utilitarian,masculine can significantly negative predict attitude to oneself premarital sex.
