Bandits have existed for a long time. In ancient times, they are called a robber,greenwood robber; they are called a beard, horse thief and stick their hands in moderntimes. China’s earliest recording of bandits appeared in Western Han dynasty, a largenumber of bandits existed in various dynasties after the Western Han dynasty. Banditsbring great harm to the society and people’s living at that time through robbing,kidnapping and blackmailing, becoming social cancer disaster. Especially in the ageof social unrest, greater social devastation was caused and people hate them much.Feudal dynasties were taking measures to control bandits at that time, but with littlesuccess.The modern period of the Northern warlords Government, various warlordsexpanded power by containing bandits, resulting in robbers and cops together,therefore, bandits were more and more. In the Republic of China, bandits becameextremely active, all areas had bandits. The government had taken measures to copewith banditry, but because of its strong color of anti-communist, the bandits to pacifymainly contain, therefore, don’t deal with bandits eventually.After New China was established, spy, backbone, bullies and landlords are notwilling to fail, forming many counter-revolutionary organizations actively. Theykilled cadre and masses, manufacturing counter-revolutionary event, instigateduprising forces mutiny, spread rumors. In such a situation, eliminating the bandits,destroying the plot, defending the new People’s Republic, shoulder the task ofmaintaining social stability and security of the people fell in the body of theCommunist Party.Article mainly discusses the founding of new China of suppressing bandits in theearly struggles of this historic event and historical experience.
