This paper is a systematic analysis to three hero characters (JING. G, GUO.Y and WUJI,Z) of three martial arts dramas recomposed from three Jin Yong works:《Legend of The Condor Heroes》,《The Brave Archer and His Mate》 and 《Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre》Initially, this paper will target current situation of Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas and cultural implication of typical "chivalrous swordsman". After that, it will analyze the "chivalrous swordsman" experience of three heroes mentioned above and different representation of "chivalrous swordsman" spirit, reflecting the cause of hero formation of Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas. Consequently, this paper will combine all the analysis to release the influence to the audiences by "hero" characters.Secondly, the research scope mainly concentrates Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas from mainland China. Specifically, they are Legend of The Condor Heroes2003, The Brave Archer and His Mate2006and Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre2009. These three dramas’ filmmakers are JI ZHONG, Z. They were all invested and shot at Mainland China. There are two reasons causing this selection:first of all, these dramas took an array of advantages of Mainland China, such as huge investment, complete stage properties and more magnificent scenes, which made Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas from mainland China greatly transcend Hong Kong and Tai Wan versions. The other reason is till the year of2009, JI ZHONG, Z had been in charge of filmmaking work of seven Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas. To a large extent, we can say Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas from mainland China have been already formed their typical system and style, which the dedications of JI ZHONG, Z cannot be neglected. Finally, the reasons why Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas are always popular have closed relationship with the hero characters narrated by Jin Yong. By and large, each audience, even every generation of viewers is able to find out their own role from these heroes. Perhaps, heroes’ experiences from Jin Yong’s martial arts dramas can not become our models for achieving success. However, it is no doubt that each growing experience of hero is a motivational textbook. Depending on them, confused people find their faith; brave guys more brim with confidence. These vivid characters greatly influence each audience by the medium of TV, which makes each audience is capable to more or less get some enlightenments from these heroes.
