Language is a mirror to reflect social, address terms is the pilot of the language of communication. Address terms is not simply belong to linguistics associated with literature, ethnology, sociology and other fields. As a Vietnamese students, I learned Chinese knowledge, experience will be the Vietnamese and the Chinese address terms system were compared, revealing the cultural differences of the two countries, which made teaching methods suitable for the Vietnamese students’ psychological condition and ability to accept. A difference by reading the book material I come to the Chinese and Vietnamese languages the concept of symmetric predicates, Vietnamese only vocative and personal pronouns, and even a lot of Vietnamese linguist address terms included in personal pronouns, called a mix of personal pronouns or borrow personal pronouns. Chinese symmetric predicate, salutation, personal pronouns have a different distinction.Subject to Chinese address terms system, compared and come to their similarities and differences between closely related to the national psychology of the traditional culture of the two countries in the address terms system of pragmatics, contrastive linguistics, based on Chinese and Vietnamese language. First a brief description of the address terms system of Chinese and Vietnamese language; followed by comparison of the two languages the personal pronouns (first, second and third personal pronouns), kinship terms (patrilineal, matrilineal, couples department),social terms of address(generic term,occupational address terms,generalization of the kinship terms);once again the system of address terms summary; finally, in reference to previous results of research, I put forward their own views and teaching programs reference value, as well as some new angle of thinking on the teaching of Chinese learners and Chinese as a foreign Language.
