Olivier Messiaen (1908-1992) was one of the most significant composers in the20"’-century. In contemporary western music, he has occupied a unique position because of the full of colorful and changes of his music. In France, his status could be compared with Claude Debussy.His first published work was the Preludes, the one of the few unreligious works of him. The eight Preludes innovated greatly based on concepts of French impressionism, which includes "The limited transposition scales" and "The rhythm of non-retrograde", were beginning to show in the 《Preludes》《Un reflet dans le ven》, the finally and top-drawer work in the Preludes, represents many composition features which belong to the composer’s mature period.
