The Development And The Inheritance Of The Historic Cultural Prose From The Modern Prose Language

In the1990s, the historical and cultural prose prompted prose revival, raising a great reflection of the history and culture of seeking in the literacy circle and the whole society。 After giving the definition of the prose on history, culture and its style innovation, this paper concludes that the creation of the historic-culture prose which inherited the advantages of the modern-culture prose in the aspect of language, and it extends the power of language in a special perspective, as well as it presents a distinctive style that encompasses both historical romance and rational speculation.The paper summarizes the linguistic art of the historic-cultural prose since1990s and analyses the change of language in the views of quantity and quality during the development. Paper from six aspects discusses the historical and cultural prose language charm:In Part Ⅰ, it generally tells the research results of historic-cultural prose. Criticism comes along with the boom of the historic-cultural prose. Theoretical critics did many researches on the definition of the historic-cultural prose and its style innovation to make its theory perfect and extend its process development, which also created a new driving force for making the prose style more powerful.In part Ⅱ, it states the general situation of the creation for the historic-cultural prose since1990s. The historic-cultural prose had been very popular in the year of1990and prompted a revival of the prose. This part gives a detailed interpretation in four ways; they are conception, structure, culture and style.In part Ⅲ, it analyzes the creation of modern-cultural prose made a big difference in the development and innovation for language. The emergence of Chinese grammar standard and vernacular Chinese prompted a boom of creating modern essays. The late-Qing scholars firstly tried to write cultural travels, and that’s the initial stage of the vernacular Chinese. The modern-cultural prose makes the Chinese prose stepped into the modernism, which further innovated and optimized the Chinese language system. This also provided a theoretical and empirical support to break the ranks limiting creation of the traditional Chinese. In part IV, it tells the linguistic inheritance since1990s. This chapter focuses on the similarities of the cultural prose. It analyzes that the historic-cultural prose inheriting the modern-cultural prose in linguistic art from three perspectives, that is:language cultivation, four-character style and figures of speech.In part V, it expounds the innovation and breakthrough for the creation of historic-cultural prose in the year of1990s. At the turn of the two centuries, the modern Chinese had made great progress compared with that thirty or forty years after the New Culture Movement. The development and synthesis of the disciplines as well as the strengthening social-subject consciousness contributed to the evolution of language which brought by the changes of prose on history and culture, and which made the language of historic-culture prose more informative.In part VI, it analyzes the limitations of the prose on history and culture existing in language presence. The emergence of the setting pattern for a kind of genre always means its linguistic form has tapped in prisons. This may made the historical and cultural prose got far away from the popular, to reduce to the public works of the role of cultural summons and power.The paper takes the cross of the literature and linguistics as key point, and explores the linguistic beauty of the prose on history and culture, which tries to provide some references for the research of the historical and cultural prose from the view of linguistic art, and may play a complementary role for the general study of the Chinese prose language arts.
