No matter in the research scopes about the ontological study or subject research on the discipline of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, because of language which is the vector of culture, scholars both at home and abroad are discussing this question that language teaching must be combined with culture. But in the specific practices of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, there is no final conclusion about how to combine culture with them.With the irreplaceable advantages of films and television programs,this essay is aimed at exploring the effects and feasibility of intervening them to the specific practices of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language so that we can know whether this kind of teaching strategy is able to combine language teaching with culture furthest.This essay can be divided into five parts, just as follows.The first part is introduction, telling readers the current studying situation of using films and television programs to spread Chinese culture in the teaching practices of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language as well as the author’s research thinking and methods. As to the second and third parts, we can see the discussion about the feasibility and necessity of making use of films and television programs to spread cultures in the teaching practices of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. And the forth part is about the principles of how to select proper films and television programs to help spreading cultures in the teaching classes of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language and arrange the specific curriculum. Last but not at least, the fifth part tells readers the estimated theory effect as well as case analysis of the practical language teaching.All in all, from the above five parts, the author want to discuss the feasibility and defects of this thesis theoretically and practically and then find some ways to improve them in the continuing research.
