A Comparative Study On Three Elementary Chinese Character Textbooks Which Are Write For The Second Language Learners

Nowadays,more and more scholars pay attention to the field of teaching Chinese as second language,especially the Chinese character.The scholars have been getting many achievements of this field.For example,the teaching method,learning strategies, repetition frequency of Chinese character and so on.This paper concerns the study of elementary Chinese character textbooks which are aim for the second language learners.The Chinese character textbooks which are aim to teach foreigners include the character pattern,the pronunciation of Chinese character and the meaning of Chinese character. The key of compiling Chinese character teaching materials is the law of studying Chinese character. Based on the Chinese character,compile the vocabulary, sentence, short essay and so on.This is different from other books which are based on the vocabulary.According to the learning rule of vocabulary,they compile the book.But this kind of textbook neglect the study of Chinese character.This paper research three specialized Chinese character textbooks which are write for the second language learners.They are the book writed by Liu Yanmei, the book writed by Zhou Jian, the book writed by Shi Zhengyu.Compare three kinds of books,we analyse the difference,findout the reason and give suggestion. First,pay attention to the practice of strokes and order of strokes.Second, pay attention to the structure of the Chinese characters and the component of Chinese characters.Third,make use of the semantic radicals and phonetic radicals.of Chinese characters.Fourth,according to the rule of memory,we should review the knowledge in short time.Fifth,Compile the specialized Chinese character textbooks which are write for different countries.Sixth, According to the cognitive law,the textbooks should include the part of learning strategy.
