Study Of The Book Of YiJing Marriage Folksongs

Usually "YIJING" is thought as a book of divination in the ancient time, but it really contains many folk songs. Especially the value of the marriage folk songs is very large. These songs contain many marriage customs. I try to solve some problems of the marriage folk songs based on "YIJING"Firstly, I research the content of Marriage Folksongs in "YIJING". As we know there are many ancient songs about the ancient society in the book of "YIJING", such as the labor and social songs, war songs, the natural phenomena songs, and so on. The marriage folksong can be divided into the love songs, the wedding songs, the missing women’s songs, the deserted wife’s songs and so on. In addition, the "xianGua" is very controversial. My article will explain "xianGua" again on the basis of previous research, combined with some folklore material, which puts "xianGua" as a case.Secondly, my paper will reveal the marriage customs, which are reflected in "YiJing". The marriage folksongs reflect the ancient proposal customs and dowry customs and sacrifice customs after marriage in ancient songs of "YIJING",which also reflects that the Zhou Dynasty has attached great importance to marriage. My article will analyze the reasons that the marriage is very important in Zhou Dynasty.Thirdly, I will compare the marriage songs of "YIJING" with the marriage folksongs of the southwest minorities. I mainly select Miao, Yao, Qiang ethnic groups as comparison objects in my paper,which mainly concentrates on the romantic songs’ imagery, wedding customs and so on.
