This paper intends to study family relationship in Lao She’s novels.The method used in this paper is to compare masterpieces of LU Xun,Ba Jin,Lao She, Cao Yu, LU Ling,only by this way can we conclude that Lao She is a distinctive novelist whose novels bring refresh feelings to his researchers. The refresh feelings result from traditional description of home.Just as a Japan scholar said:traditional family form of <Four Generation> is without any denial at all.Compared with<home>,it doesn’t negate traditional family form,but deeply love old and excellent Chinese traditional culture.Both extended family and nuclear family reflect Lao She’s traditional inclination rather than anti-traditional or modern.
