Mysticism is a kind of poetic view of the world and poetry of universe. It is anessence of humanism and life socialist. Chen Yingsong, one of the hottest authors in recentyears,chooses Shennongjia as the unique aesthetic object, showing a mystery world withhis strangeness and romantic tone of writing style. It brings wide attention in literary field.Chen’s work is a combination of his inclination towards mysticism and the aesthetic objectitself.In his works, Chen creates his mysterious writing style and aesthetic artisticconception, which is based on theory that "man is an integral part of nature" in Chinesetraditional culture, and trait psychology of romantic and mysterious in Chu culture, also heborrows the magical realism writing spirit and style of Latin American. Through a lot ofmysterious narrations, Chen is trying to rehabilitate the divine color of nature and world inhuman consciousness, and reconstruct modern ethics between man and nature.Chen’s mysterious narration is the reflection of life experience and human nature,based on the existence of divinity in his heart. Also it is a real representation of humanexistence shrouded by mysterious atmosphere. In his novels, the mystery is not anexpression way to achieve some purpose nor to make unique, but a component of real life.From the perspective of mysticism, this thesis attempts to seek Chen’s novels’ practicalcriticism and ultimate concern through mysticism narration, aesthetic significance,narrative retraces.
