| Objective To investigate the prevalence and distribution of behavioral problems in Suzhou city, and to compare the chang between2000and2010for behavior problems of child.Methods The questionnaires, which including Achenbach Child Behavior Checklist (CBCL, for parent’s table), Family Environment Scale(FES-CV), and a self-designed questionnaire about the related factors, were used for surveying school-aged children in1-6grades selected from2urban primary schools and3rural primary schools by using cluster sampling method in2000and2010. The data were input and analyzed by SPSS software package.Results The results showed that the prevalence rate of behavioral problems was19.6%and there was difference between urban and rural children, and no gender difference and no difference of behavior problem rates among the different grades, and there were the higher prevalence rate of behavioral problems for immigrant children. The results indicated that there were the change between the behavior problem of children in2000and2010.Conclusions There were the high prevalence rate of behavioral problems for children in Suzhou,and specially pay more attention to immigrant children. The results provide the scientific evidence for mental health education of children in Suzhou. |
