Comparative Analysis Of Chinese And Western Ecological Ethics

The contradiction between human and nature in the present world has evolved into the most violent forms----worldwide ecological crisis. Historical development to today, our life are facing many challenges of practical problems. Although we have improved the quality of life, but we are gradually losing our natural survival. The current national trend of ecological civilization and ecological ethical consciousness are the human’s response to this issue. For the history of human civilization, it’s a great change. Ecological civilization is an evolutionary upgrade as the new form of civilization, not only beyond the capitalist mode of production, but also contains a reflection of industrial civilization. We are in the occasion of the originator of ecological civilization, a variety of social thought have different character, this time there are more need for a high degree of quality of social ideology to its norms, ecological ethics strategically advantageous position at this time.At present, we have to developing and refining a common values of society which adapting the socialist core value system, seeking consensus in diverse and changing in the direction. Whether it is traditional Chinese culture or the history of Western civilization, both impacting on the current building ecological ethics. Horizontal comparing and vertical combing the different between western and eastern ecological ethics is the base of new ecological ethics under the vision of harmonious society.This paper defines the concept of ecological ethics from the concept of ecology and ethics. Interpreting the concept"Anthropocentrism"、"Non-anthropocentrism"、"value"which closely related to the ecological ethics."Tian ren he yi " philosophy is the blood of history in Chinese ecological ethics. Kongzi’s thought of "ren" and Laozi’s thought "Taoism" were the oldest and most far—reaching ideas. Western ecological ethics derivative from the theological ramifications of religious, which is directly related to the productivity of the western society. The paper described the basic outline of the development of west ecological ethics from the aspect of philosophy development、ethical core、classical theory. Chinese and western ecological ethics are based on their different cultural background, I tried to make "right understanding of the relationship between man and nature" as a breakthrough to seek fit and differences between the two.The last part of the article, explaning harmonious ecological ethics from the start of rationality, the possibility of its existence and deduce the nature、functions、meaning the construction of ecological civilization, providing a powerful ideological、theoretical、ethical support.
