| Metamemory monitoring is the most important part of metamemory, which is the monitoring judgment for all kinds of memory state and emotional experience. FOK (Feeling of Knowing)judgment is a individual self-evaluation for the possibility of memory extraction. As the most typical form of metamemory monitoring, FOK judgment received more and more researchers’attention. Exploring the influence on FOK judgment is helpful to promote effectiveness of metamemory monitoring and improve memory scores. The former research mostly focused on the mechanism of FOK judgment but neglected the influence factors of FOK judgment. This study combined individual variables with task variable aimed to explore the influence of self-efficacy, working memory span (individual variables) and material type (task variable) on the ranks and accuracy of FOK judgment. This study adopted classical experiment paradigm of FOK judgment—RJR paradigm, chose351students as participants from Liaoning Normal University randomly to carry on General self-Efficacy Scale and Working Memory Span Text. We chose40participants ultimately and divided into four parts:HH, HL, LH, LL.This study adopted mix experimental design, carried on Analysis of Variance of the rank and accuracy of FOK judgment. The conclusions showed that:General self-efficacy had influence on the ranks and accuracy of FOK judgment significantly; working memory span influenced on the accuracy of FOK judgment significantly; emotion type of material didn’t have influence on the ranks and accuracy of FOK judgment significantly. After done correlation analysis of the accuracy of FOK judgment and recall scores, the conclusions showed that:The accuracy of FOK judgment had significant correlation with recall scores. So we can inferred that object memory and metamemory are closely related. |
