| Chinese paintings have been developed over six thousand years. As an important part of Chinese painting, freehand brushwork Chinese painting has been developed and enriched in long-term practice, conveyed the essence of Chinese painting, represented the development notion, became the excellent tradition of Chinese national painting. During the history of freehand brushwork painting, PoMo splash-ink of painting techniques enlightened the painters of Song Dynasty which witnessed the appearance of Liang Kai, who is good at express the emotion and character by paintings. Due to various reasons, the painting such as landscape, flower and bird take advantage, while on the other hand, freehand brushwork painting hasn’t been fully developed.At the beginning of last century, Xu Beihong integrated the western artistic techniques into freehand brushwork painting, which enriched and made up for the techniques of freehand brushwork painting; exert profound influence on the creation of contemporary freehand brushwork painting. Nowadays, Chinese contemporary freehand brushwork painting developed towards various trends which contain both the traditional artistic and modern artistic ideas. With the development of modern society, there is a more and more clear boundary between countries. Only Chinese and Japanese paintings are named after the country, therefore, Chinese painting has its limitation. Contemporary freehand brushwork painting has developed on the basis of Chinese local culture which will give rise to the innovation consciousness. However, such problems as the shape, conception of painting as well as innovation of Chinese painting emerged at the same time. These problems put forward us an arduous task. This thesis will lay emphasis on the problems and personal feelings during the creation of contemporary freehand brush work painting. |
