| As the basis of subject teaching knowledge of a music teacher and also animportant component part of music teaching system, the subject knowledge of musiccan be divided into music specialized skill and theoretical subject knowledge. Besides,a rich fund of the subject knowledge of music can show the comprehensive qualitiesof a music teacher. Thus, it is very important for a music teacher to master a wealth ofsubject knowledge of music. Music education majors, whose professional qualitiesdirectly influence the qualities of the fundamental education in our country, will bethe main force of future teachers. With the acceleration of the specialization ofteachers, China has faced fundamental education reform. Music is the core subject ofaesthetic education and has gradually led to concern of all circles in society, so thesocial position of music teachers has also been much stepped up. The voice for theimprovement of qualities of teachers and courses is getting louder and louder. As forthe junior music education majors who face educational practice and who will be theteachers in the future, sound and rich subject knowledge is not only the need oflearning specialized knowledge, but is also the necessity of specialization of teachersand of education reform. Additionally, the students’ career will also be deeplyinfluence.Based on the questionnaire survey of junior music education majors at threeuniversities in Jilin Province, employing documentation method, comparative analysisapproach, and questionnaire method, this paper consists of introduction, the mainbody and the conclusion. Introduction mainly introduces background information, thecauses, research status, and research significance. This part shows the reality andimportance of such research and is also serves as the basis of the main body of thepaper. The main body centers on the survey. It can be subdivided into two parts. Thefirst part mainly talks about the basic conditions of the survey and the polled students.Through comparative analysis, the second part presents the results and illustrates theproblems and their origin and evidence. With the analysis of the results and causes,the part of conclusion elaborates the problems existing in the system of subjectknowledge of the music education majors at three universities in Jilin Province.Besides, this part explores the causes and solutions to those problems. At last, thepaper gives rationalization suggestion to the curriculum setting of music educationand the cultivation mode of junior music education majors. |
