Verb occupies a central position in the study of syntactic structureand semantic structure, the main characteristics of the action aretimeliness and spatiality, and the direction is an important feature whenthe action is showing in space. The category of verbs direction is acollection of a typical gradient,fuzzy boundary. The Chinese knowledgebase is obtain action direction on the cognition,follow the principle“direction of the verb reflects the direction of its own inherentdirectionality are consistent in a sentence”,at the same time, it often usesorientation words to indicate the direction in the sentence.In the spatial domain, the verb analysis and description of the imageschema by moving body,which is a virtual entity to complete the actionbehavior inside the verb;landmark,which is foothold before movingbody movement;path,which is Follow the route of the moving bodyfrom the footing to the mobile endpoint. Meanwhile,hidden observer is the readers or listeners who access to action verbs.By potential observer’spoint of view, we can describe upper,lower, forward, backward, inward,outward directional verbs. This articleusing the linguistic theory previously as a guide, classify the Direction ofthe verb,analyze the representative verb from the point of view ofcognition、syntax and semantics,concretize connotation direction of theverb and categorized. I analyze Errors of the direction verb that HSKdynamic corpora included,and Point out the verb acquisition type,I hopeforeign students Chinese Acquisition direction verb, the benefit ofTeaching Chinese as a language teaching practice. I hope this article canhelp foreign students Acquisition of Chinese direction verb and TeachingChinese as a language teaching practice.
