Chinese, in which the phenomenon of polysemy exists in vocabulary, issomething of this category of language lack of linguistics form changes, that it causesthe repeatability of the meaning and the utility for vocabularies. Prepositions aredelivered frequently and complicatedly, particularly in the academic activities ofChinese as a Foreign Language Professional. The prepositions “对” and “向” have thesimilar semantics function called “educing objects of movements”. In somecircumstances, the two words might stand for each other, whereas one could not takeplace another to some extent. According to the contemporary textbooks and toolbooks, there are no specific statements to explain the details for foreign researchers, which causes usual errors and teaching gaps.Based on the former achievements, the essay demonstrates the grammar progressof prepositions of “对” and “向” to find out the common semantics figure andsentences structure by taking use of former researches. My research has illustratedthat there has a possibility to change the preposition into another when they areinvolved in the form of “S+对/向+NP+VP”, as it is limited to the situation abouttransferring non-objective information during people’s communication progresses.Besides, the two prepositions have their individual meaning and utility. According totheir own attributes and analysis on the aspects of “NP” and “VP” in the sentences, Idetermine to distinguish the category standard in the vision of space displacementsand the direction of objective and non-objective information transferring in order toconclude6circumstances in which how to make a choice to the two prepositionsfinally.Overall, for the purpose of foreign language professional teaching, the essaystates the situation of the useness and errors during the practical progresses, concluding that the preposition “对” has a more frequent frequency than “向” as wellas the preposition “向” occurs more mistakes than “对”.Meanwhile, analysises andsome proposals are given based on this issue. In the aspect of corpus, some typical sentences from HSK Dynamic CompositionCorpus of Beijing Language and Culture University are chosen to state and analyzethe practical errors how students abroad make, not only providing evidences for myessay, but more far-reaching in guiding the major of Chinese as a Foreign LanguageProfessional to a straight path.
