Wei-Jin and South-North Dynasties are the most critical period of Chinesecharacters evolution. Even though the Seal Scirpt are no longer the social generic textin this history stage,they are still used in the fields of calligraphy, art,and the politicallife like rock carvings, imperial seals, coins, brick text and so on. Due to the impact ofthe cultural ethos of the society and other emerging fonts, the Seal Scirpt of Wei-jinand South-North Dynasties not only inherited the structure of the previousgenerations,but also inherited some characters of official script and regular script.Sothey show a various of artistic deformation characteristics. Therefore, the Seal Scirptof this history stage have rich and huge distinctive features.In this paper, the research content mainly has two parts. The first part is anintroduction, mainly used for the research content and definition,and summarized theresults of previous studies done to overview.The second part is used for carring out adetailed analysis on the structure of the Seal Scirpt of Wei-jin and South-NorthDynasties,and resulting in an overall summary of the petit in this period.
