On The Contemporary Value Of Leifeng Spirit

The spirit of Leifeng is an very important component of China’s construction of spiritual civilization and ideology, meanwhile, such spirit affects and models Chinese people’s character in a long period. In the modern time, this spirit can also act as a guidance of Chinese people’s morality. So, we have spent much energy in the study of Leifeng spirit. But, this kind od study also has many disadvantages, this paper believes there are two points, firstly, we ignored the traditional value of Leifeng spirit, and secondly, the leifeng spirit is a kind od practical value, but we ignored that that spirit is also a kind of theoretical value. So, this paper aims to overcome such two disadvantages and tries to find its modern existence style.This paper can be divided into five chapters. Chapter one is the introduction whose aim is to identify the cause of this writing. Chapter two is to describe the emergency and development of this kind of this spirit, especially its traditional source. The third chapter, which follows chapter two, aims to analyze two different historical period, which is the period of socialist construction and the period of reform and openness. Chapter four is the main part of this paper, whose aim is to unfold the specially and feature of the leifeng spirit. The last chapter, as a conclusion, aims to indicate that the spirit of leifeng can still have enough energy in contemporary society.
