Study Of Mongolian And Chinese Kinship Terms System

Kinship Terms which word we use every day in our social communication. No matter wich country or which kind of language using Kinship Terms are people’s daily life has always been there. Kinship terms and culture, blood relationship, relationship are inseparable,kinship terms as showing its particularity, it is as a kind of special linguistic phenomenon has aroused the attention of most scholars.China and Mongolia are neighbor countries,belong to the same region,there are many similarities between the two countries in culture,customs and other aspects.In recent years,along with China’s economy constant leap,continuous improvement of the international status the world set off a great mass learn chinese. With the continuous development of the Mongolian economy and a convenient location, Mongolia "Chinese fever" is more and more obvious, the number of people learning Chinese is also increasing,also study Mongolian and Chinese cultural custom,language and certain language phenomenon the number more and more. We know kinship terms are involves sociology,cultural studies,linguistics and other discipline,by study relative appellation we can relate multiple disciplines,which is deepen our understanding to Mongolian and Chinese whole sociaty and culture conditions.This paper mainly composed by the following parts:the first part introduces source of the topic,result of the previous research of kinship term,research methods;second part introduces Mongolia and Chinese kinship terms system, summed up two countries kinship term features and in comparison between two countries kinship which in similarities and differences,analysis causes of the differences. This paper also introduced fictive usage of Mongolian and Chinese kinship term and compare the two, from the composition and the characteristics of each Kinship Terms and main differences in people’s values, ways of thinking and other cultural and social aspects affected. At last Mongolian students use Chinese Kinship Terms situation do survey, analysis existing problems, through the analysis of the survey of Chinese Kinship Terms and gives some advise on teaching Chinese kinship term.Certainly, there are many deficiencies, and hope to be further supplemented and practice. Besides, I hope more people are concerned about Kinship Terms.
