Wang Yisun is a famous Ci poetry writer during the turn of Song and Yuan Dynasty.In his earlier years, most of his works are about his leisure life, scenery spots and poemsand wine parties. After the fall of Southern Song Dynasty, Wang Yisun frequentlyexpressed his yearning and love for his homeland. The artistic characteristics of his Cipoetry are: keeping to the point and a vivid description, similar in form and spirit,delicate allusion and imaginative sketch, gloomy with syncopated cadence and nobleconceptions. His works have provided us with a particular aesthetic model, enriched thecreation of Ci poetry and contributed greatly to the study of Ci poetry.Wang Yisun lived in a historical turning period, during which the emergingMongolian dynasty was replacing the decline old Han dynasty, yet it was also asignificant stage for the history of literature. Finally, Ci poetry entered into a fullymature and independent stage. Under this special background, it exerted influencesupon Wang Yisun’s thoughts and feelings, in the meantime, it also impacted his writingstyles. Chants Ci poetry is the Wang Yisun’s main theme, which represents his highestachievement. It contains several aesthetic feelings, for example, the emotionalconnotation’s tragic beauty, character images’ queer and elegant beauty, distant hopes’ambiguous beauty and its diversity’s formal beauty. Through the Ci’s description on naturalviews, it expresses the regret for his conquered nation and the loneliness his unstable life.The first chapter is the introduction, mainly gives a brief background introductionabout Wang Yisun, and then summarizes the research status and overall reviews onBishan Ci, Ci’s expression method and Ci’s artistic style. Regarding the research onWang Yisun’s Ci poetry, it needs to carry out in-depth analysis of the historical environmental and social conditions in which Wang Yi Sun has lived. Through largequantity of reading and drawing lessons from the interpretation and evaluation onBishan Ci made by scholars, this paper attaches importance to a variety of expressiontechniques and implications in Ci poetry. Based on historical and objective views, theauthor appreciates and analyzes every Bishan Ci to truly comprehend Wang Yisun Ci’sartistic conception and emotion, therefore gives an objective and accurate opinion onWang Yis’s Ci poetry.The chapter two explores Bishan Ci’s expression method by using objects toexpress feelings. It also gives a classification on Bishan Ci and designs a quantizationtable for Bishan Ci. There are64Bishan Cis having been classified into chants Ci poetry,seasonal order Ci poetry, farewell Ci poetry, loving Ci poetry and nostalgia Ci poetry.This chapter focuses on the Bishan Ci’s chants Ci poetry, and it analyzes from sevenperspectives. The author carries out a comprehensive analysis of Bishan Ci’s chants Cipoetry. Then, the chapter mainly includes seasonal order Ci poetry, farewell Ci poetryand loving Ci poetry. Through specific and representative Ci poetry, it discusses thecreating connotation and artistic features of these Ci poetry.The third chapter mainly studies the evolution process of Song Ci, the formation ofBishan Ci, the internal structure of Bishan Ci and interprets the lyricist style of BishanCi through these three aspects.Chapter four is the research on Bishan Ci’s gloomy style. The author believes thatBishan Ci is different from traditional graceful Ci poetry and Ci of an unconstrainedandforceful style. It expresses the grief and sorrow feelings about the falling nation andCi writers’ own life experience at the turn of Song and Yuan Dynasty. Under theparticular background of the times and the ups and downs of life experience have led tothe gloomy style of Bishan Ci.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part, which gives a summary of the whole researc. This paper mainly analyzes the causes for Wang Yisun Ci poetry’s gloomy styleand a comprehensive study is carried out by interpreting on his Ci poetry.
