In recent years, the unearthed bamboo slips truly reflects the use of the original text, the use of variant characters appear through the examination on the origin and evolution of Bamboo Slips of Qin Dynasty and, to a certain extent reflected one side at that time variant, also can provide the basis for us to enrich and improve the development of Chinese characters system.We colltect the Bamboo of Shuihudi Qin Dynasty,Bamboo of longgang Qin Dynasty and Bamboo of zhoujiatai Qin Dynasty as the main research material. we carries out an exhaustive study on the reduction of the variant. Our work is mainly on the variant words are classified, and for each word are analyzed. In the analysis process, we refer to all kinds of books as well as the results of previous studies, for reasons of sources, the variant and the change in the way to explain. At the same time, we also compared it with other documents, by contrast to see variant frequency and its development. we has mainly done the following three aspects of work.Firstly, the classification of the variant. We study on the variant, mainly according to the form and structure of the difference, the characters are divided into the following seven categories:change the phonetic component, change the semantic component, component, component, or shift change process, or stroke, stroke variation. In the analysis of each word, we generally adopt such structure. First of all, through the Shuowen Jiezi, Kangxi dictionary and dictionary of Chinese charactersand other books the word evolution; then, analyze the causes and forms from the variant; finally, reference, see the variant characters in other literature emerged.Secondly, summarizes the characteristics of the Qin Bamboo Slips variant. On the basis of the description of the classification and system of Qin characters, the use of inductive research methods combined with the analysis, summed up the three features:writing arbitrary, location is not fixed, allogeneic assimilation makes text system to develop concise direction.Thirdly, ummary of variant Chinese characters on the evolution of regulations.
