Emotion is the focused field of developmental psychologist all the time as an important and complex mind activity. It has profound effect to the ability of individual’s social adoption, which plays an important role in the process of individual’s development from biological property to social property. Adolescents’ emotion has become the main issue to psychologist for the characteristics of adolescence, which is different from other age, such like the researches of developmental emotion problem, the ability of emotion regulation. With the developing of embodied researches, embodiment has been prevalent among the researches of emotion. Embodied cognition argues that our body (including the brain) is involved in cognitive activities and interactivities between body and environment. The embodiment not only refers to the cognitive influence caused by body activities, but also the process of empirical mimicry of perception, interoceptor, and motion manipulated in our mind. That embodiment and simulation is the essence of emotion has been proved through many researches. The studies found that embodiment not only involved in emotional perception, emotional experience, but also the advanced cognitive process of language comprehension, recall, etc. Meanwhile, the evidence from neuron science has facilitated the researches of embodied emotion. In this research, we aimed to explore the relationship between embodiment and adolescents’daily emotion according to the previous research paradigm with the material of daily emotional events. We supposed that the result of adolescents would be the same as in adults. Adolescents would have different emotional experience and the process of emotional manipulation in the different expression condition. The result showed:(1) The grading of emotional events had significant difference with different expression, and the score in frown condition was significantly lower than in smile and forbidden condition.(2) When we added the other factor, emotion valance, we found the main effect still reflected only in grading, and the score in frown condition was significant lower than in smile and forbidden condition; the emotional valence had significant effect in sorting, and adolescents reacted faster to the positive events than negative; there was no interaction between valence and expression; the accuracy has age effect, and the accuracy of junior students was significantly lower than senior students; expression and age had interaction in accuracy, and the expression had main effect in senior students but not in junior. We reasoned the above result caused by the fluctuation of adolescent emotion, the difference emotional experience in forbidden condition and the different process of emotion manipulation.
