This paper mainly explains Yukiti Fukuzawa’s modern initiation thoughts and investigates deeply the great influence about Yukiti Fukuzawa’s enlightenment on Japanese modernization by researching his works and education activities.The meaning of the Fukusawa Yukichi’s thought and Japanese modernization, the present study and the paper’s frame construction are introduced in the chapter one.The life and times background of Fukusawa Yukichi are mainly introduced in the chapter two. Fukusawa Yukichi is a famous thinker and educator in Meiji Period of Japan. At his age of 25, Fukusawa Yukichi investigated the information of Europe and U.S.A with Tokugawa Envoys. he deeply understood Japanese lacked vedic sanction by knowing western civilization and science and made positive guidance of learning modern western civilization. He fought with backward and carrion cultures of the backward and carrion feudalism, worked on the reformers and publicized the sprit of freedom, equality and independence. The enlightenment of Yukiti Fukuzawa can meet the reform needs of society at that time and made an important contribution for taking the road of national independence and development.The enlightenment of Fukusawa Yukichi was mainly expounded in the chapter three. The first part is "Theory of Civilization", the second part is "Encourage Learning", the third part is "Out of Asia".The relationship between Enlightenment and Japanese were mainly introduced in the chapter four.
