Shanxi Formation, Ordos Basin an important hydrocarbon raw reservoir intervals, Shanxi has a huge significance. In order to better follow-up exploration and development of the gas reservoir, in-depth study of the area is extremely important, this article aims to explore the detailed study of clastic reservoirs on the eastern part of Shanxi Formation in the Ordos Basin in the study area in order to the northern part of the reservoir of the exploration area, has helped raise awareness and provide guidance on the role of exploration in the northern part of the exploration area.The authors summarize the basis of previous experience, the first sedimentary rock theory, core analysis data, outcrop logging data response characteristics based on. to redefine the study area, the stratigraphic sequence, summed up in this study of Shanxi Formation sedimentary facies and microfacies types.Followed by the author under the guidance of the macro-sedimentary facies, using core analysis, casting thin sections and mercury injection data carried out a detailed study of the characteristics of the Shanxi Formation reservoir. Especially in the study of pore structure, in addition to the experimental data of pressure mercury, also used nuclear magnetic resonance logging carried out a detailed analysis of the pore structure.
