Based On The Flex And Mapping Mashups Shared Information Platform Design And Implementation Of The Public Space

WebGIS is the combination of GIS and Internet (WWW) is one of the mostimportant trends of GIS. With the development of internet, the working style of peoplehas been changed greatly. Because the limitation of friendly and convenient userinterface, WWW has been changed the application system architecture and been themost common way of collecting、sharing、analyzing information. A Rich InternetApplication (RIA) is a Web application that has many of the characteristics of desktopapplication software, typically delivered either by way of a site-specific browser, via abrowser plug-in, independent sandboxes, extensive use of JavaScript, or virtualmachines. So Flex is chosen to implement Flex-RIA WebGIS in the client.Flex-RIA technology, the light style traits of REST architecture, Map Mashupmodel as well as the functions of ArcGIS Server for the Flex API are studied in thethesis. Based on these, make Flash builder4.0as the client, ArcGIS Server10for theservice, they via REST API interact each other, mashup a variety of heterogeneousplatforms Maps API based on REST and multi-source data mix use. At the same time,by Web Services of.NET that is Flex supports to communication with the RelationalDataBase is design and development of a prototype of WebGIS. The system contains aseries of the improvement basis functions (such as query, drawing and measurement,etc.), and interface operations and the visual design to improve user interactionexperience as well as it is demonstrate a powerful map Mashup、RSS Feed.It is shown that, the development of the Flex-RIA WebGIS has a good expressiveand interactive, at the same time, using the REST architecture to deploy can reduce thedevelopment complexity; The study also shows that use sensitive public informationsources to realize the Map Mashup that is the concept of heterogeneous platforms toshare data sources. So the research has model significance to the development of publicinformation service system based on Flex-RIA.
