Google Sketchup With Google Earth Application In The Urban Design Study

Along with the development of computer technology, computer use in the urban design of the auxiliary has been extended to3D design and animation from the early two-dimensional graphics. However, the domestic design industry did not give full play to the great potential of computer-aided urban design, designers are still putting too much energy into the software operation rather than a creative design. This article is based on a computer-aided design new methods to seek, in order to allow city planning designer in the computer-aided functions, with a new way of thinking and technical means to achieve the pursuit of the perfect urban design program.This paper first describes the Google SketchUp and Google Earth software in city design of the vital significance and the function, this article identified the research route, Google SketchUp and Google Earth software applications and related theory is introduced, and the current assistant city design software for utility assessment, then, based on the two software aided city design in six aspects and related technical principles are discussed in detail, including:research status quo of data acquisition, planning and design stage of the analysis, solar environment analysis method, city building wind environment analysis method, the virtual reality platform construction of city design construction and management platform construction. In the above related on the basis of theoretical analysis, this article combines the Ganzhou city land city design examples, discusses on the.
