Wuhan Area Middle School Uniform Design And Its Application Study

Uniform, as a special cultural form, reflects not only the cultural aura and mentaloutlook of a school, but also the level of civilization in education of a region or a stateand the level of economic and cultural development. In this paper, we take WuhanCity Middle School uniforms as a research object, while understanding the historicaldevelopment and cultural characteristics of the school inform in China and abroad, wecarry out a detailed analysis and comparison of the uniform in China and abroad, thenfind out the gap and the problems of the uniforms in China and abroad, raise thenecessity of study design. Based on the Principles of Cultural Sttudies,we explain thefunction and effect of uniform culture to campus culture; based on the designtheory,from some aspect such as style color, pattern, fabric and of inform, frommiddle school in the Wuhan region using the method of combining questionnaire andthe interviews of students, by the summary statistics analysis, understand the modernsecondary school education, secondary school campus culture and the students’attitude to the existing school uniform, finding out the existing problem of thestudents of secondary school in Wuhan region. For students’ attitude to the aspectsuch as comments and suggestions, we propose the corresponding design scheme.according to the cultural characteristics of Wuhan region. Taking the Chu culture asdesign elements. proposing the idea that we should reflect the design view of regionculture characteristics while designing uniform and design series of uniform of thesecondary school in Wuhan region. We should provide some help for the developmentof the uniform of secondary and some reference for the uniform product developmentof clothing company.
