W-Ni alloy is a kind of high melting point,high strength,good wear resistance,low thermal expansion coefficient,strong corrosion resistance,good oxidationresistance of alloy.It is widely used in cutting-edge scientific,fields military industryand civilian industry and other fields.Such as machinery,medical equipmentelectronics,aerospace and military industry,automobile parts,household hardwareand so on.It is a kind of high temperature resistant refractory alloy,is currently one ofthe important refractory material. The novel method of electro-deoxidizationdeveloped in recent years,It is a kind of green metallurgy new technology,belong tothe green pollution free technology process for the production of low cost,shorttechnological process.The composition of the alloy is easy to control,can avoid theactive metal spread rapidly caused by segregation,segregation of alloy.This paper uses the novel method of electro-deoxidization,in the CaCl2-NaClmolten salt in preparation of W metal and Ni metal,in the two experiment on thebasis of sintering,with solid mixture of WO3-Ni2O3circular plate as cathode,thegraphite rods as the anode,at a certain voltage and temperature of electrolysis,WO3-Ni2O3circular piece of direct reduction of tungsten nickel alloy.Through the experiment,researched on the forming pressure,sintering tempera-ture,molten salt electrolysis temperature,time,cathode thickness and related factorson the effect of electro-deoxidization.The use of Miniflex type X ray diffractionanalyzer for the determination of cathodic electrolysis and the phase composition,theuse of XL30W/TMP scanning electron microscope test under different conditions ofcathode electrolytic products morphology,and through EDAX Spectroscopy determin-ation of cathode electrolysis product related elements.Study found that with the increase of pressure compression molding,cathoderound pieces overall volume shrinkage degree of hardness and the correspondingchange of cathode plate,pore size is correspondingly small,dense degree increasedgradually.When the molding pressure is small,the bonds between the particles isclose enough,conductive,electric deoxidization effect is not good,at the same timethe electrode is easily chalking.When the molding pressure,sheet body is verycoMPact,relatively low porosity,molten salt infiltrating inwards difficulties,electro-deoxidization reaction was slow,compression molding pressure the greater the electrolys is the effect is worse.The higher the temperature of a molten salt,oxygen-ion diffusion migration velocity increases,the electrolytic speed,but when temperat-ure is exorbitant deoxidization reaction is not stable,current fluctuation is larger also,also does not favor the reaction control.However,too high a temperature of a moltensalt will consume more energy. Different electrolys is voltage, cathode themorphology of the product has bigger difference.When the voltage is2.8V,particlesizes,shapes,electro deoxidization effect is not very good,when theelectrolytic voltage3.1V for the electrolytic product of porosity and particle sizeuniformity,morphology coMParison rules,an obvious sponge spicules.So the moltensalt should be used in relatively high voltage.Along with the gradually increasingcathode electrolysis time,circular piece in the residual oxygen content decreasedgradually,electrolytic time from3h to6h residual oxygen content near linearrelationship,electrolytic6h,residual oxygen content of0.64%.When the electrolysistime reaches8h,the residual oxygen content of0.56%,from6h to8h,content ofresidual oxygen only trace changes.The best Process conditions were as follows:molding pressurewas15MPa,inter-ing temperature was900℃,sintering time was2h,electrolyzing under3.1V for6hou-rs.The W-Ni alloy Pellets formed under these conditions had higher level theresi-dual oxygen content was lower than0.64%.The current efficiency is33.82%....
