Liquidus temperature of aluminum electrolysis process is one of important parameters.If you can Accurate measurement of the primary crystal temperature of the electrolyte, you will deduce electrolytic tank superheat and use it to guide the production of electrolytic aluminum, to reduce energy consumption,and raise economic benefits. This article in view of the aluminum electrolysis is primary crystal temperature of a design based on MSP430single chip microcomputer measuring system.It includes two major parts of the hardware and software.Hardware mainly includes a CPU module, power supply module, LCD display module, temperature acquisition module, data storage module and communication module USB. The CPU module is the brain of the whole system.I choose TI company which produce16-bit low power single chip MSP430F449. This module is composed of MSP430F449MCU,JTAG interface circuit and reset circuit. The chip is powerful, including cold end compensation, amplification, A/D conversion, linear correction and integration in order to used to typing the K thermocouple. Liquid crystal display module by a model of the YM12864C128x64graphics dot matrix LCD and keys. The USB communication module is use the CH372chip and support the low power mode.It can be directly connected with the single chip microcomputer.The software portion of the main job is to write the chip program.I provides a detailed account of the CH372chip underlying program design.and the liquid crystal display YM12864C and MAX6675ADC program development. I use VC++to achieve a simple and good PC interface. Finally, according to the principle of thermal analysis, calculated by the CPU electrolyte liquidus temperature values and the data can be uploaded to the host computer.Through continuous debugging, this system can display the measured temperature and curves by the liquid crystal. Finally, it can calculate the primary crystal temperature of the electrolyte.At the same time,the data can be uploaded to a host computer through the USB chip. The system for measuring the liquidus temperature of aluminum electrolysis process numerical can provide a good reference.It can be used to guide the production of electrolytic aluminum.
