The paper has carried out fundamental application research after full investigation and survey about mould machining and production. It has also involved the analysis of various technological and tooling factors that affect mould products. Principles of technical scenario have been put forward according to production cases. NC machining programming and virtual processing verification has been realized.In this paper, the major works are as follows:1. Analysis of technical requirements of mould processing and production, by enterprise survey.2. Through mapping inferential reasoning, put forward the mathematical algorithms about milling cutters during the mould type surface processing. Can be used for the quantitative analysis of the technology tools. It’s helpful to optimize the cutting parameters.3. Summarized the principles of the type surface machining process schemes.4. Confirmed the feasibilities of above-mentioned principles and methods by way of the mould processing example of the "bottom of a beverage bottle".In summary, this paper provided the basic studies on the mathematical treatment of the cutter during the fixed axis processing; Moreover, it puts forward and proved part of the principles of mold machining process schemes; and solved part of the technique issues in the actual production. Therefore, this paper has certain theoretical guidance to the actual processing production.
