Remote measurement and control of the wells is an important part of the crude oil production. The current measurement and control network has three main network construction mode, that is wireless bridge, digital radio and GPRS/GSM, these types of networks that have a common weakness is that deployment is not flexible enough, can not achieve the dynamic expansion. Therefore, using dynamic network characteristics of the Mesh network, this paper designs and achieves a remote measurement and control system to meet the requirements of oil field. The main works of this paper are as follows:1. This paper discusses the well remote measurement and control system architecture based on the Mesh network. The system consists of field measurement and control, access to Mesh and Intranet/Internet, control and Mesh node is the key of the paper;2. This paper designes a hardware system of Mesh network node measurement and control server. The hardware selects Samsung’s S3C2440microprocessor, uses Marvell88w8686wireless WiFi chip as the wireless communication interface and selects TLV254312-bit11-channel A/D converter chip and KP1040linear optocoupler chip as the peripheral circuits to realize data acquisition between analog quantity and switch quantity;3. This paper builds the software platform of measurement and control server based on Linux operating system. The platform selects the kernel of Linux-2.6.25.8version and sqlite-3.5.9embedded database as the supporting software and completes the WiFi NIC driver, boa web server and dynamic webpage technology based on Java applet to realize remote data acquisition and real-time monitoring.4. This paper realizes the address translation between internal network and external network. Using NAT (Network Address Translation) technology to realize the address translation between private network and public network,the server makes data transmission and information resource sharing between internal network nodes and external network possible;5. This paper realizes the wireless Mesh network based on OLSR routing protocol. Using the self-organized network of Mesh network, the server improves the reliability of measurement and control network and increases the flexibility for network expansion.This paper designs and realizes the industrial Mesh network measurement and control server, which is presently applied in production of oil field. Field test results show that, the server meets the requirements of practical application.
