Retarder is a cement slurry’s three main additive,in well cementing,cementing retarder performance is the key of success or failure,development of high performance retarder in recent years is the main research direction.In this paper,the root of halogenated hydrocarbons containing sulfonic acid (SH),corn starch(S) as raw material,under alkaline conditions, synthesis of a new type of high temperature retarder (SHS).By changing the ratio of monomers,reaction temperature,reaction time and other factors.in the research of sulfonated starch retarding performance,so as to determine the optimum conditions for synthesis of:the sulfonating agent addition is50%,the NaOH addition is1%,reaction temperature is60℃reaction time is3h.In this reaction conditions for synthesis of retarder SHS retarding effect is good,indoor evaluation of temperature can reach150℃.And the use of infrared spectroscopy and elemental analyzer for product SHS were characterized,confirmed the sulfonic acid radical effectively connected in starch.Research on optimum conditions for synthesis of retarder for cement slurry performance indexes,the experimental results show that:at90℃,SHS addition is1%,the thickening time of cement slurry is250min,at130℃and150℃.the thickening time of cement slurry can be reached to315min and346min,the temperature thickening time and retarder with linear relations;The temperature and quantity of small changes,temperature sensitive coefficient is less than20%,plus the amount of sensitive coefficient is less than1;SHS have a thickening effect,but with the dispersant compound can regulate the water slurry consistency; retarder on water fluid free solution have a certain effect,when the addition was1.5%,the slurry free solution for1.87%; The strength of cement stone formation has certain influence,by regulating the amount of the micro silicon can reach14MPa; and filtrate reducer was highest for the50mL,loss of water.In the conventional density,low density,high density and latex cement slurry system join SHS,integrated performance research.Conventional density cement slurry system:at90℃,130℃and150℃,thickening time can reach280min,347min and359min,the48h maintenance,strength can reach above14MPa,free fluid can be reduced to0.1%,the loss of water is17mL;density of1.30g/cm3low density cement slurry system,90℃and130℃,the thickening time are respectively258min,315min,48h curing compressive strength is greater than16MPa,free solution for0.14%,the loss of water is22mL;density of2.26g/cm3high density cement slurry system,at90℃and130℃under the thickening time are respectively246min,326min after48h,conservation,the compressive strength can reach more than18MPa,the loss of water is28mL;latex system,at90℃and130℃under the thickening time are respectively203min,274min,48h conservation,the compressive strength can reach14MPa, free solution for0.73%,the loss of water is34mL,the thickening curve is good,does not affect the construction need,the displacement efficiency is good,can be very good anti gas channeling.In this paper the synthesis of sulfonated starch SHS,used in four kinds of cement slurry system,retarding performance and temperature resistance performance is good,and other additive compound with excellent performance,low price,wide source of raw materials,has a good prospect of application.
