The Drilling String Measuring Sub Research

Cone dropping, drilling breaking and dropping etc. often appeared during the drilling production process,but the cause of the accident can not explore, this paper is presented for a measurement method of analysis and determine the accident of drilling engineering through extensive research and based on the current status quo, On this basis, the design of the measurement of a short section of the measurement system-the drilling string, known as "drilling black box", to be able to measure the storage-related parameters used to determine the analysis of the cause of the accident.Firstly, research and analysis to measure the storage parameters just bottom of the well string WOB, torque, temperature, and the mud pressure, use of the above four parameters can basically analyze the movement of the column to provide a basis for the cause of the accident. Then the conclusion, based on the relevant countries and the oil industry standards, the measurement of a short section of the overall program design, measuring the short section is composed of the external column unit and the internal measurement unit, the main role of the external column unit is connected to the other drill, and the container of the internal measurement unit; The core modulesof the measurement unit is a measurement of a short section. Power supply module is energy module of a measurement unit,it supplies power to the sensor module and data acquisition device.The sensor module includes drilling pressure sensors, torque sensors, mud pressure sensor and temperature sensor which are used to measure engineering parameters such as WOB, torque, mud pressure and temperature data. The data acquisition device includes hardware and software design. Finally, verify the analysis and experiments of the measurement of short circuit part of the module under the existing conditions in the laboratory.Under laboratory conditions, by a simulating experiment of the short part of the module.it indicated that the measurement of the short section of the measuring unit can measure the mud pressure, the temperature inside the column, WOB and torque; and verified a rationality and feasibility of the design. In short, the study of this paper laid the foundation for the realization of the column further research to measure the short section.
