With the growing energy crisis, the automotive industry is facing an urgent need of further saving energy and reducing emission. Therefore, the lightweight of manufacture has become the main objective pursued by all auto companies. With high ratio between quality and strength, high strength steel plate can completely satisfy the need of auto lightweight, which makes it be more widely applied in automotive industry.Compared with ordinary steel plate, high strength one may lower the efficiency of stamping forming owing to its high yield strength and low percentage of area reduction. The problem of its strong rebounding extent has specifically been a difficulty in the process of stamping production, and even seriously restricts the extensive application of high strength steel plate.CAE software dealing with sheet forming can not only predict the potential defects in the process of stamping production and analyze the reason, but also optimize the parameter of stamping process and mold structures through analyzing experimental results as well as determine a reasonable parameter so as to achieve goals of enhancing the quality of stamping products, shortening the development cycle and reducing production cost, etc.The main content of this paper is to make analogue simulation on the stamping forming process of the covering parts of a Geely Automobile based on the Dynaform software., to analyze the underlying problems in the process of stamping forming and rebound, to testify the feasibility of analyzing the stamping forming process and the rebound simulation by the use of finite element analogy methods, and to ensure the reasonability of the selection of the parameters.This paper mainly focuses on the following matters:1) Drawing lessons from a large number of national and international materials, this paper introduces the classification of high strength steel plate, theoretical bases of elastic-plasticity in the process of stamping forming of automobile covering parts, the change law of stress, and also the basic principles of framing constitutive equation in detail.2) Elaborating the basic theory of finite element analogy methods and analyzing integral arithmetic on the process of sheet forming in order to choose the right integral arithmetic in different periods.3) Making an analysis of various mechanism and calculation methods of rebound to find out influencing elements and measures controlling the rebound.4) Researching the stamping forming process of certain covering part and its rebounding process by the application of the finite element analyzing software Dynaform, and then select the appropriate parameter by comparing these results with experiments.
