Multi-frequency vibrating screen is a new kind of vibrating screen and does forced vibration under the different frequencies produced by several vibrating exciters, which is conducive to improve sieving effect of the material. Almost all the existing research work about multi-frequency vibrating screen focus on the mechanics principle and experiments, however, there is little information about the conveyance law of solid particles on the working screen surface. The motion of solid particle on the vibrating screen surface is very complicated under the influence of several factors, such as initial phase difference, amplitude ratio and frequency ratio of dual-frequency vibrating screen. It is necessary to study the law of single particle conveyance, which is helpful for the development dual-frequency vibrating screen. Therefore, some studies were done in this thesis as followings:The dynamics equations are established for single particle on the flat screen surface of of multi-frequency vibrating screen based on the principle of theoretical mechanics. By analysing the equations, the relative sliding conditions and relative sliding speed of solid particle, the Starting condition equation and termination conditions equation of solid particle throwing motion, the average speed formula of single solid conveyance were obtained, which can provide theoretical basis for the study and using of dual-frequency vibrating screen.Based on the flat screen, the simulation model of collision between solid particle and vibrating screen surface was established with ADAMS, and simulated in one case that the high and low frequency Vibration tracks are circular, another case that high frequency vibration track is circular and low frequency vibration track is straight line, to research the motion law of solid particle effected by initial phase difference, amplitude ratio and frequency ratio.The single particle conveyance model was built, based on the wave-shaped screen which had the same movement parameters with the flat screen, to research the law of single particle conveyance of wave-shaped screen affected by initial phase difference, amplitude ratio and frequency ratio.The simulation and comparison show that, with the same trajectory path and the same setting parameters, the average speed of solid conveyance of flat screen is slightly higher and more stable than wave-shaped screen.The performance of multi-frequency vibrating screen, in the case that low frequency vibration track is straight line, is better than the case that low frequency vibration track is straight line on the sanme screen surface.
