| Objective:The purpose of this subject is to observe the clinical vital signs of patients with sepsis, inflammation parameters and indicators of organ dysfunction, APACHE II score, TCM Symptoms total score and prognosis of outcome and other clinical outcome measures, to control the observation of medical treatment on sepsis the effectiveness of the disease, provide useful help for the further optimization of sepsis treatment in Chinese medicine prescription.Methods:The study adopted the method of the multi-center prospective cohort study, determined in accordance with the wishes of patients and clinical operating conditions assigned to the control group or treatment group. Control group according to conventional Western medicine treatment guidelines recommended by the SSC in2008as a treatment program, the treatment group, according to the condition of the enrolled patients in the control group treatment program on the basis of dialectical induction and extraction of the member units within the group treatment programs to develop a integration solutions, select the appropriate TCM treatment observed1,3,5,7,14days clinical vital signs (body temperature, breathing, heart rate, blood pressure), laboratory examinations indicators (WBC, N%, PLT, GLU, Cr, TBIL, CRP), recorded24-hour urine, APACHE Ⅱ score, TCM Symptoms total score and prognosis of outcome indicators, in order to study medicine on the effectiveness of sepsis treatment.Results:The results of this study confirmed that the Chinese medicine treatment of sepsis can help improve the28-day outcome of patients with sepsis and hospital outcome, can significantly reduce28day mortality in patients with sepsis and hospital mortality. The comparison between treatment group and control group, each group of observations, CRP in the first14days of treatment,7days treatment, significant differences in the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group, Chinese medicine treatment of sepsis in reducing the inflammatory response in patients with have a role in the rest of the observations between the two groups showed no significant difference. But the comparison group within each group, the treatment group, APACHE Ⅱ score, clinical symptoms score sheet total score, vital signs (body temperature, respiratory rate, heart rate, systolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure), inflammation parameters (WBC, CRP),, GLU,24-hour urine volume before and after treatment data show significant differences, while the control group within the group no significant difference between the Chinese medicine in the treatment of sepsis have a role in improving the patient’s condition; for the PLT, treatment the group before and after treatment, while the control group were there significant differences, and the observations showed a clear downward trend, the Chinese medicine is a certain role in the maintenance of PLT levels; for Cr and TBIL value of control group and treatment group group comparison were no significant difference.Conclusion:Chinese medicine treatment of sepsis to improve the prognosis of patients with positive role, can significantly reduce mortality in the individual indicators, the Chinese medicine treatment group compared to western medicine did not show a clear advantage, but the Chinese medicine treatment group indicator showed significant differences in their own comparisons before and after treatment in the group, indicating that the patient’s condition improved to some extent, this does not show in the western medicine group. For the PLT, the treatment group before and after treatment, while the control group were there significant differences in observations showed a clear downward trend, the Chinese medicine is a certain role in the maintenance of PLT levels; for Cr and TBIL value of control group and treatment group were no significant differences within the group. This result provides a new direction of exploration for the future of Chinese medicine treatment of sepsis. |
