Objective:1.To explore the TCM syndrome distribution and the syndrome element characteristics of the lung cancer with bone metastasis.2. To analyze the relationship between the different syndrome elements with gender, age, pathology classification and chemotherapy.Methods:1. The literature research:systematically arranging the literature study and clinical reports about TCM syndrome and the syndrome elements of lung cancer with bone metastases, collecting the experience of the old famous doctors of traditional Chinese medicine, and referring to the corresponding diagnosis standards, to summarize the TCM syndrome and the syndrome elements of the lung cancer of bone metastases.2. Retrospective investigation:collecting the basic materials and symptoms in terms of traditional Chinese medicine of the126patients who have got lung cancer with bone metastasis and have received therapy in our hospital from January to February2005, investigating into common syndrome elements of the126patients, and summarizing the distribution of the syndrome elements.3. Statistical analysis:establishing database and carrying out statistical analysis with statistical software SPSS13.0, this paper discusses the distribution of syndrome elements, and relationship with age, gender, pathology classification and chemotherapy, and discusses the distribution of TCM syndrome with cluster analysis. Results:The most common location of syndrome elements in patients with lung cancer with bone metastasis is the lung, followed by spleen and kidney. The most common disease resistance syndrome pattern is qi deficiency, with blood stasis, phlegm, Yin deficiency following. Statistics suggest that there is no correlation between the syndrome element distribution and genders, age groups, syndrome element distribution, pathological type of patients with lung cancer with bone metastasis, and that there is between a month chemotherapy or not and kidney deficiency, in which there is no correlation with other syndrome element distribution. The patients who have chemotherapy in a month exist qi deficiency and kidney syndrome elements more than the one who no chemotherapy. The common TCM syndrome type concluded from the syndrome element clustering analysis:lung Yin deficiency or lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome, phlegm stasis obstruction syndrome. Conclusion:The location of syndrome elements of patients with lung cancer with bone disease is mainly in lung and the disease resistance syndrome pattern is mainly qi deficiency. Chemotherapy can influence the distribution of the syndrome element in such a way that there is correlation between having a month chemotherapy or not and the distribution of kidney and qi deficiency. Compared with patients without chemotherapy, patients with chemotherapy can more likely get kidney and qi deficiency. The common TCM syndrome type is lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome, followed by phlegm stasis obstruction syndrome. |
