Research backgroud:Hel icobacter pylori has closely related with chronic gastritis, pept ic ulcer and gastric cancer. H. pylori is an important pathogenic factor of those disease. As early as1994, WHO has classified H. pylori as a carcinogen. It is estimated that about50%of the population has infected with H. pylori in the whole world. In the modern time, western medicine uses "triple chemotherapy" or "quadruple chemotherapy" to cure H. pylori infection, which has achieved a good effect. Some expert’s study showed that the eradication of H. pylori can reach80%. However, there are still some patients can’t eradicate H. pylori effectively. It’s also makes the eradication of H. pylori difficultly with the antibiotics widely using, and the resistant strains appearing.These problems make the traditional Chinese medicine has a broad space to exploit its advantages, to explore the influence factors of Hp eradication according to syndrome differentiation, to improve the eradication rate of Hp according to treat it by Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Objective:The purpose of this paper is to explore the relationship between the eradicat ion of H. pylori and TCM syndrome type, to confirm those who has fai led of H. pylori eradication by using quadruple chemotherapy, belonging to the weakness of spleen and stomach, can improve the eradication rate of H. pylori by treating with liujunzi pills combined with quadruple chemotherapy as the second course.Methods:We selected806patients whose results of13C-BUT is positive. We collected their clinical information, and classified them into7types, dampness-heat of spleen and stomach, stagnated heat of liver and stomach, liver qiinvading stomach, intermingled cold and heat, stomach yin deficiency, weakness of spleen and stomach, syndrome of static blood in stomach collaterals, which referenced by the TCM Digestive Disease Clinic Guide. All the patients treat with "quadruple chemotherapy" for14days, review the "C-BUT after withdrawal the drugs one month. Giving those who failed with the first course of treatment to eradicate Hp, and TCM syndrome type is weakness of the spleen and the stomach, liujunzi pills combined with quadruple chemotherapy as the second course of treatment for14days, review the13C-BUT after withdrawal the drugs one month again. Observating the eradication rate of the second courses, as well as the impact factor of eradication of the second courses. This experiment used the spss17.0software for statistical analysis. Results:The eradication of H. pylori has no significantly correlated with gender and age. There is a positive correlation between the eradication rate of H. pylori and TCM syndrome type. The distribution order of TCM syndrome type from high to low for H. pylori infection is that:dampness-heat of spleen and stomach, weakness of spleen and stomach, stagnated heat of liver and stomach, liver qi invading stomach, intermingled cold and heat, stomach yin deficiency, syndrome of static blood in stomach collaterals. Eradication rate from high to low order is that:weakness of spleen and stomach, syndrome of static blood in stomach collaterals, intermingled cold and heat, stomach yin deficiency, liver qi invading stomach, stagnated heat of liver and stomach, dampness-heat of spleen and stomach. For the first course of treatment of H. pylori eradication in failure belonging to the weakness of spleen and stomach in68cases, therapy by liujunzi pills combined with quadruple chemotherapy as the second course, its eradication rate is55.9%. And stomach pain, bloating, belching, acid regurgitation, bad breath and other symptoms of digestive system, has obviously improved. In the treatment of second course, there is significant correlation between the eradication rate of H. pylori and DOB, DOB is more higher, the eradication rate is more low.Conclusion:The most type of H.pylori infection is dampness-heat of spleen and stomach, weakness of spleen and stomach, but after the application of quadruple chemotherapy, the type of dampness-heat of spleen and stomach has the highest rate of eradication. However, the eradication of the weakness of spleen and stomach type is the lowest. The second period of treatment with liujunzi pills combined application of quadruple chemotherapy can improve the eradication rate of H. pylori whose type is weakness of spleen and stomach.
