| Zi Di Shu is one of musical forms, which was created by the Manchu Eight Banners during the Qing dynasty. It rose in the Qian Long period and declined in the late Guang Xu period. It was originally popular in Beijing, and spreaded to Shengjing (Now Shenyang) in the Jia Qing period, named as "Qing Yin Zi Di Shu". Again, It spreaded to Tianjin in the Guang Xu period. Zi Di Shu of the Qing Dynasty has unique artistic merit as one of musical forms, which was grew out of the Manchu Eight Banners during the Qing dynasty.In the Qing dynasty and Chinese history, the Manchu Eight Banners can be considered as a special group with the most concentrated wealth, the most distinctive characteristics and the most powerful influence. By virtue of their ancestors, they gained "Yue Qian" from the imperial court. They did not have to toil for livelihood. Most of them accept Manchu type education since childhood. They were proficient in traditional literature. They were fond of script, poetry and learn from each other; They were fond of Beijing opera, drinking tea and alived with pleasure. They were the subsidiary of the Qing dynasty. Zi Di Shu was the cultural product during a period of great prosperity. The Manchu Eight Banners devoted themselves into writing and singing, so they created many excellent works. However, along with the demise of the Banner system and the arising of new musical form, Zi Di Shu disappeared gradually in history and left musical book. To the music tune, only few brief description has left and no more documents can be checked. Nearly two hundred years of Zi Di Shu disappeared, but it brings hope to us because of the appearance of the hand-copied Gong Che notation of Zi Di Shu.This text is consist of four chapters, including introduction, origin and development of Zi Di Shu, criticisms and explanations of the hand-copied of Gong Che notation of Zi Di Shu and the impacts of Zi Di Shu on folk music. Explaining and analysing the works through textual research on musical book, textual criticisms on music score and analysis on music score. The analysis bases on the music lyric and music score in order to obtain the music feature of extant Zi Di Shu.Chapter Three:" the impacts of Zi Di Shu on folk music", according to extant Zi Di Shu, from two aspects, music tune and music lyric, do the textual research on the related music. The impact of tune on the scope of the textual research of musical types includes Tian Jin Wei Zi Di Shu, Shi Yun Shu, Ying Shu, Dong Cheng Diao, Nan Cheng Diao, Man Xi Cheng, Shuang Gao Diao. |
