Culture Productivity Research In Network Society

The emergence of Network society is one of the most significantevent of the20century in the field of society, economy, culture andpolitics. Network society is the socialization of the InformationTechnology Revolution which exerts profound influence on thedevelopment of modern society. People are getting more and moresensible to the dramatic changes which are brought by the Networksociety in peoples way of living and development.In the document of "Decision of the Central Committee of theCommunist Party of China on Strengthening the Partys GoverningCapacity", the concept of "Cultural productivity" was put forward. Then,based on the conclusion of the extensive experiments and valuableexperiences, The Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Party CentralCommittee has pointed out the importance of enhancing the culturalconstruction and put forward the guiding ideology of "Promoting thesocialist cultural development and prosperity" as well as the strategictarget of "Building up the socialist cultural great power". It has becomean essential requirement for pushing forward the construction ofChinese characteristic socialism and consolidate the Partys status asruling party to deepen cultural restructuring, release and develop thecultural productivity, and promote the Culture industry.This paper is intended to interpret and study the Culturalproductivity on the background of the Network society thus proposecorresponding reflection and counter plan on how to develop thecultural productivity in the Network society.This paper is divided into four parts: the introduction part is theanalysis of the current research situation home and abroad, introducesthe importance and necessity of carrying out the research，and sets theresearch object,range and method; the second part offers a study on the condition, essence, construction and features of the emergence ofNetwork society, defines the Network society as a Informationization ofthe society; the third part analyses the definition, construction andfeatures of Cultural productivity from the perspective of new form ofproductivity force; the fourth part probes into the interaction of theNetwork society and the Cultural productivity, argues how to effectivelyrelease the cultural productivity and develop the Culture industry uponthe highly informationized and technological social environment.
