Chinese-english Interrogative Sentences

With the deliberate analysis, this paper comprehensively describes and explainswhat question sentences in Chinese and English are, by consulting amount of materials.I hope Chinese and English learners will consider it as the useful material at first hand.We compare question sentences of Chinese and English original works with theirtranslation versions in order to show the similarity and difference. The later is moreimportant. The purpose is to guide teaching practice.There are six chapters. In content, it is divided into three parts: chapter one is thefirst part, summarizes intension and extension of Chinese and English questionsentences in full way, introduces their study history and development; chapter two andthree are the second part, in terms of sentence pattern, meaning and pragmatics, wegeneralize the types and their representative features of question sentences. The restchapters are the third part, through contrast studies of translation examples in"thunderstorm" and ", a tale of two cities”, will show us use frequency of different kindsof Chinese and English question sentences.Value and ultimate aim of the thesis lie in the following two aspects:First, after comparison, show the show the similarity and difference Chinese andEnglish question sentences, help learners to have deep cognitions and understandings tothis two languages..Second, mastering the accurate knowledge of the theory, make teachers effectivelycarry on linguistics teaching.
