Multimedia Context Of Art Criticism

With the occurrence and development of network media, the world rapidly enters into anera of mass media where paper media, radio and television coexisting with each other.China’s modern art and art criticism have also stamped with marks of this media era,especially paper and network media, which realize the spread of art criticism effectively dueto their role as carrier of art criticism texts. Therefore, by adopting the method ofinvestigating document study, this thesis analyzes and classifies the spreading features ofnetwork and paper media, and on this basis concludes the influence of them on art criticism.In this era of mass media, diverse cultural backgrounds bring about the coexistence ofnetwork and paper media, which further generates the diversity of art criticism.
