| Animal husbandry is closed to human living, which is much more deep in ancient society. Our country’s animal husbandry developed in a peak time during Tang and the Five Dynasties, especially in the northwest area. Therefore, a plenty of words and phrases about animal husbandry had been used in the local people. Then there are many contract and accounting documents in the Dunhuang and Turpan recorded them veritably. However, the researches about the Dunhuang and Turpan concerned about word explaining and analysis of the grammar in the past. Researches from the apart of vocabulary semantic were scarcely, not to mention the summary of the animal husbandry vocabulary. Therefore, to research the animal husbandry vocabulary has an academic meaning.This thesis has five parts.The preface introduces the animal husbandry’s place in our society and its characteristics in the Tang and the Five Dynasty. And also mentions the background of object selection, the research value, the research achievements, the research methods and difficulties.The first chapter is a history investigation about these vocabularies. We analyses and explained them, dividing them into history words, new words at that time, loanwords and Buddhism words. The aim of this chapter is to clear constitute of these vocabularies.The second chapter analyses from the meaning. We used the concept of "semantic" to classify them. We put emphasis on the synonymy words, and simply conclude their characters.The third chapter researches on grammar, which intends to find to the regular pattern.The fourth chapter is a summarization about the front chapters, concluding characters about the animal husbandry vocabularies.The fifth chapter try to make a new attempt from the writing apart, and we list some secular writings and wrong writings.The last part of this article is a conclusion. By the procedures above, we hope to reach the following goals:the first is a supplement explanation about basic words. The second is to contribute to the systematic research of the language of the Documents of the Dunhuang and Turpan. |
