Along with the close combination of culture with economy and science day by day,the cultural soft strength has occupied more and more important position in thecomprehensive national strength and become one of the important criteria to measure thestrength of a country. Our country is a great culture nation with deep cultural connotationsand rich cultural resources. In2000the development of cultural industry was officiallyincorporated into the overall national development plans and became national developmentstrategies. In2011cultural industry was established to be the country’s pillar industries.With the restructuring of China’s macro-economic, the development of cultural industrywill not only become an important new economic growth point but also take on importanttasks in China’s economic restructuring. But compared with the developed countries incultural industry, China’s cultural industry is still at a disadvantage. The cultural industry isstill at the beginning stage; the innovation ability is insufficient; the overall strength andinternational competitiveness is not strong. Through the establishment of the internationalcompetitiveness of our cultural industry research framework, this article analyzed thepresent situation and reason for the international competitiveness of our cultural industry,and put forward the ways to upgrade our cultural industry, which have practicalsignificance.Firstly, adopting the culture industry’s international competitiveness results analysissystem that constructed by trade competitiveness index, using the import and export data,the international competition ability of our cultural industry and some core culture productwere analyzed in this article. From the analysis we can see that the scale of our culturalindustry continues to grow. However, the structure of our cultural industry also paysattention to the quantity but despises the benefits, which is similar to the other industrystructure. So, the structure of our cultural industry should be adjusted furtherly. Secondly,in this paper Porter "diamond" model theory was used to build an analysis system forinternational competitiveness of cultural industry, which is the decisive factor in thedevelopment of cultural industry. From the factor endowments, cultural needs, relatedindustries, corporate strategy and government policies and opportunities, the evaluation system evaluated and compared the international competitiveness of cultural industries ofChina and other countries. Lastly, drawing on experiences in the development of culturalindustries in developed countries, three policy recommendations were put forward such ascreating an environment for cultural industry restructuring, cultivating a culture ofhigh-level innovative talents and creating an internationally competitive enterprise groupsin the culture.There are two innovations in this paper. Firstly, the result and cause analysis, throughthe international competitiveness of cultural industries, made the results more practical.Secondly, by drawing on the development experience of domestic cultural industry,combined with some cases, this paper detailedly set forth how to enhance thecompetitiveness of cultural industries strategies.
