| One of the main tasks of school education is to inherit and develop the Chinese character culture. However, with the increasing study pressure of the elementary and middle school students nowadays, the schools have to ignore the calligraphy education. Calligraphy, as the traditional culture, faces such tragedy, which is worth considering. Therefore, the writer will go to the basic unit schools to get to know the present situation of the calligraphy education and look for the corresponding strategies in hope of finding way out for the calligraphy education.The writer chooses the Wuxi Yangshan central elementary school to carry out the fact finding, which is famous for its calligraphy education. The school’s principal Qin and other teachers are interviewed. Some students fill our questionnaires. The questionnaires are mainly concerned about the students’study time, the choice of the calligraphy styles, the teaching methods and students’attitudes towards the calligraphy. Through the comparison with the present elementary school calligraphy education of our country, it is found that there exist two questions in respect of skills and actualities. The writer come up with some proposals in hope of solving these problems.The essay is made up by three parts. Firstly, the outline of the elementary calligraphy education is explained. Secondly, the calligraphy education situation and the questionnaires of Yangshan central elementary school are introduced. Lastly, a series of elementary^schools’calligraphy education questions are discussed, through some analyses, the writer gives some suggestions.At present, a lot of scholars also discussed about the present situation of the elementary calligraphy education. But their elaboration is incomplete, only repeatedly discussed about the attributions from the aspect of reality. Some only shouts out the slogan, which is effortless and does not penetrate into the teaching essence of the calligraphy education. However, the essay elaborates on the error zone of the students on the basis of the skills and actuality, in hope of providing practical help with the present calligraphy education. |
