In the eighties or nineties of the20th century, the writers of Shandong Province began to make a figure. Zhang Wei, Mo Yan and some other writers to emerge in the literary world, but one of the many writers in this period are choosing family fictions in this novel type as a way of creation:Zhang Wei’s "The Ancient Ship"、"Family"、"Bai Hui", Mo Yan’s "Red Sorghum Family"、"Full Fat", Zhao Defa’s "Justice And Human Desire"、"And Refused To", Wang Zhaojun’s "Blind Family"、"The White Candle" and so on, constituting a sizable family fictions. Why Shandong writers in this period chosen family fiction in this novel type of creative start? It’s worthy of concern and thinking of the literary phenomenon.Carefully read these family novels, you may find these works are inevitably affected by the impact of regional culture of Shandong, showing obvious characteristics of regional culture. Family novels and the culture of Shandong in this period of activity is not accidental, to understand the relationship between them has become the main direction of this paper. The article based on Zhang Wei,Mo Yan,Zhao Defa,Wang Zhaojun’s family novels which wrote in the eighties or nineties of the20th century, mainly discusses traditional etiquette culture, the hero culture, ghost culture why connected with family novels of Shandong in this period, and how to go deep into the Shandong family novel internal and how to influence their specific style, and in these specific influence of Shandong culture the family novels have what special value and significance. We hope that through such efforts, the Shandong writers’family novels as well as the relations between culture and literature can be further in-depth understanding and grasping.
