Driven by the spirit of pursuing difference and originality, people don’t satisfy with frequently-used degree adverbs anymore such as "hen很"、"ji极"、"zui最" etc. to express the degree of the center of a predicate in Modern Chinese. Therefore some degree words in the place of complement such as "yaoming要命、yaosi要死" etc, which are named as "zhunbu words" in the dissertation, are risen and active in oral Chinese, newspapers, and internet recently due to its vivid quality. The main meaning of "zhunbu words" in the place of complement is "high degree". There are some similar qualities seemingly between "zhunbu words" and other words which also express degree in the position of complement and keep original word function. Actually there are big differences in many aspects such as syntactic, semantic and pragmatic, which would be studied in the article.Firstly, the author defines "zhunbu words" as the word only existing behind of the complement marking word "de得" as well as expressing "high degree" in the article by comparison the pragmatic and meaning between "zhunbu words" and other words such as adverb, adjective and "weibu words".Next, under the guidance of three-dimensional grammar, this dissertation gives stereo and dynamic discussion of "zhunbu words" in the aspects of syntactic, semantic and pragmatic. Syntactically,"zhunbu words" only exist behind of the complement marking word "de得" and express "high degree"; They generally don’t have negative form and comparative form; There are no " liao了" behind " zhunbu words "; We can’ t independently use "zhunbu words" answer the question and put a question to "zhunbu words". Semantically, the semantic of "zhunbu words" with the colors of oral and exaggeration, directs only to the center of a predicate; the original words’colors are blurring with the evolution of their grammaticalization. Pragmatically,"zhunbu words" are both the semantic core of the whole sentence, usually the main taker of sentence function. Then this dissertation classifies "zhunbu words" as "huang慌","yaoming要命" and "budeliao不得了" from the angle of the free degree of collocation with its predication.Lastly, the article gives tentative and brief analysis on causes forming "zhunbu words" from the different angles including the mechanisms of grammaticalization, the linguistic theory of unboundlessness\boundlessness and Construction Grammar. To "zhunbu words", the meaning of "high degree" isn’t given naturally and in isolation. Semantic similarity is the basis of the grammaticalization procession of "zhunbu words". The linguistic theory of unboundlessness\boundlessness explains the reason why "zhunbu words" only closely tie to the complement marker word "de得". Additionally, both pragmatic subjective factors and special construction meaning of "predication+de得+complement" make "zhunbu words" the final deformation.
